DREAMTONE is a traditional RPG, whimsically harkening back to the long-gone days of the 1980s. It’s a love letter to the wacky, strange, and sinister stories of the past while being something completely new. It’s a game about a world with too many dues to count, where the children foot the bill for the sake of the future. It’s about the power of dreams, and how those with twisted and warped dreams will use any means necessary to enact their will. It’s about a group of unlikely friends trekking across America, fighting demons and any monsters that cross their path. It’s about an American poster-boy beating up rats with his baseball bat and hitting projectiles back at his foes.

Features

DREAMTONE features a strange and reactive world that actively changes depending on the character you're playing as. Playing as the younger, less experienced protagonist Nathan Bloom may not get you into certain areas; but play as his older, charming brother, and you'll be able to smooth talk your way into almost any area. As you change characters, you'll notice the world shift and morph around you. NPCs will talk to you differently, and you'll have access to different abilities within the overworld that can change how you play.

Here, battles are unique and engaging games of back and forth strategy with you and your enemies. Different enemies have different tactics, and will take on different behaviors depending on a variety of factors in battle. But don't fret! You don't have to take the brunt of all enemy attacks - using a button-press you can counter an enemy's attack and send it right back at them!
